500,000 sq.m. Of Housing To Be Constructed In Mariupol This Year – Russian Deputy PM

A total of 500 thousand square meters of housing is to be constructed in Mariupol this year, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin told journalists, DAN reports.

“In Mariupol alone, there are 15,000 builders today, in two months there will be 30,000,” he said. 

“Starting October, a number of residential buildings will be ready, that are being constructed by other contractors. By the end of the year, we will start construction of another 500,000 square meters.”

The work is being carried out at an accelerated pace, this month 200 new facilities opened on the territory of the two Republics of Donbass, Donetsk News Agency reports.

A modern multifunctional medical centre opened in Mariupol with the assistance of Russia.

Earlier in the day, Khusnullin said that by the end of the year the number of builders in Donbass would reach 50-60 thousand.
