Zionisation Of The West: Anti-Palestinian Censorship, Repressions And Curbing Of The University Freedom – Konrad Rękas

The fight for a free Palestine is also taking place on the streets of Western European cities, on the European and American university campuses and even in the stadiums and… airports.

British airports under occupation.

In the UK under the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act 2019, the British counterintelligence service, MI5, operating under the camouflage of the airport police, has been granted almost unlimited powers to „to stop, question, and detain individuals for national security purposes whose presence is connected to their entry, departure, or travel within United Kingdom”.  This means that, in practice, any traveler may be arrested, detained for questioning, and any electronical devices he handles may be confiscated without any possibility of legal recourse.  In July 2025 also referring to the so called “anti-terrorism prevention” the British government banned popular grassroot organisation, Palestine Action, getting another pretext for further and mass repression.

Due to the widening interpretation introduced by the police, these regulations allow now to arrest of anyone who, for example, demands action in defence of Palestinians in Gaza.  That is because the use of the words “Palestine” and “Action” in the same sentence is criminalised!  It would be surreal if its consequences weren’t so fatal. In recent weeks alone, the number of people arrested for expressing support for Palestine has exceeded 2,000.  T-shirt with the Palestinian flag is enough to spend at least several hours in custody. Posting on the X. is even a more serious crime, leading straight to the criminal courts, in such cases, handing down verdicts in 30-minute hearings, without the defendants having the right to defend themselves or even speak.

Magna Charta is dead.

In practice, this is not only a rejection of the last symptoms of Western liberal democracy but also represents erasing of the very foundations upon which what was once European civilisation was built.  The aforementioned regulations and the practice of sanctioned repression extinguish the achievements of i.a. the Magna Charta Libertatum—810 years of history of state, law, and social relations in Europe and, more broadly, in the European cultural sphere, which today must be treated as nothing less than a poisoned well.

This has come to pass because a brutal war is being waged simultaneously on the metapolitical and cultural levels.  Zionist propaganda is merely the flip side of a policy of repression and censorship, whether it is carried out at major sporting events, especially football (such as the Maccabi vs. Aston Villa match in November 2025), in connection with events of primitive, vulgarised mass entertainment (such as the infamous Eurovision Song Contest), or imposed on the academic community, as is happening particularly at universities in the UK and the US, against the will of the majority of scholarship and students.  Suspension of students, visa revocation, bans on pro-Palestinian gatherings and academic conferences, and even monitoring of students’ participation in pro-Palestinian activities outside of universities and their social media posts are now commonplace in Anglo-Saxon countries.  Again, this completely negates the tradition of free scientific research and university autonomy.  Western universities are not only no longer free and autonomous, but are also obligated to serve dominant ideologies, among which Zionism holds a prominent place. Together, this new ideological dictate constitutes the ideological and social reality of a higher form of Western liberalism and progressivism: authoritarian liberalism, inevitably tending toward omnipotence and exclusivity, and thus, in practice, totalitarianism, in the service of, among others but especially, Zionism.

Civilisational choice

This is also achieved through new technologies and techniques of surveillance, observation, and control, paradoxically often developed by universities and research centres themselves.  Their progressive financialisation since the 1980s has transformed the former Platonic Academy into yet another capitalist enterprise, one that is subordinate, subcontracted, and dependent on orders from global corporations and the states that serve them, in the realities of globalism, closely linked financially to the Zionists and their financial base.  This is precisely why the demand to cease all scientific and research cooperation with the Zionist occupation and the companies working for it is so zealously persecuted.  It is not just a matter of grants, which support the academic bureaucracy and Zionist collaborators, but rather a matter of the civilisational choice of Knowledge and Wisdom, inextricably linked to Virtue – or the Zionist devaluation of science, treated utilitarian and commercially in the service of crime, the most serious of all: genocide.

No Free Europe without Free Palestine!

Academic resistance to Zionism therefore has a primarily humanistic dimension, a reliance on long-forgotten values, passed down through Greek philosophy and Roman law, updated but unchanged throughout centuries of national history.  The fight for a free Palestine is therefore not only an expression of our support for a nation driven from its own land, plundered, and subjected to a process of systematic genocide.  It is also a defence of ourselves, the very essence of our true identity.  Without a free Palestine, there will be no free Europe, no free World, nor a free university as a centre for the pursuit of Truth. Truth that, with God’s will, must ultimately prevail.
