Finally, at long last, it appears the European Union may come to its senses. All it took was for German elites to understand they’re about to lose billions and risk upheaval. News from the IMF that halted gas supplies to the country will cost Europe’s largest economy 1.5 percent of its GDP in 2022 scares the Olaf Scholz puppet worse than communist smart girl Sahra Wagenknecht. Which has me wondering, was communism that bad, after all?
And if Germany sees the light and laments the utter idiocy of the Washington-led war on the Russians? Well, it’s a bit predictable if you think about it. The alternative, a global thermonuclear war that would take London, Paris, and Berlin down first, also seems less likely. That would kill off generations of bred mediocrity. But, what to expect next?
If anybody knows how the Russians love a good joke, it’s certainly the socialist son of traditional Lutheran parents. Scholz is great at posturing for the Luxembourg elites and the Americans, but he knows all too well that Russian maintenance on machinery on the Nord Stream pipeline could mimic the Moscow mail soon. The people who laugh at -40C mornings are certainly chuckling over German Europe’s leaders running around the world begging for gas. Only, there’s no more gas to get.
Wagenknecht has even sided with Saxon CDU Prime Minister Kretschmer against Scholz on the reality that Germany is done without Russian energy. East Germany, in particular, is in big trouble if a Russian mechanical breakdown cliche turns real. Only a Russian with a big wrench can fix what gets broken in a Rusky system, everybody knows that. But, what about Germany’s current leader? Does Scholz plan to foil Putin by betraying fellow EU partners?
Here’s where the west’s lack of a strategy turns really stupid. As it turns out, the Germans actually did plan to siphon gas out of smaller EU states to power their Volkswagen production. No, I am not kidding. The same country that professed Greece as a colony and the Florida of Europe planned to divert energy from smaller EU states to run Germany’s industrial sector.
German energy regulators set up “priority areas” to get protected access to power if there are severe gas shortfalls this winter, while Brussels created a so-called “solidarity pact” including rationing gas throughout all of Europe. Former German Defense Minister and current EU President Ursula von der Leyen issued plans for EU states to ration gas by 15 percent in a panicked response to potential Russian energy humor just the other day.
The EU president was only recently in Azerbaijan begging for gas. At about the same time, U.S. President Joe Biden was seen on bended knee to the Saudi princes. However, it seems like the “world” the western elites insist is against Russia over the Ukraine demilitarization process is not really against Mr. Putin’s country at all. Add to this, the fact there simply is no more supply outside Russia, Iran, and Venezuela, and you see just how insane the west’s leaders are. There was never a plan B here. And please consider, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt plan to approach BRICS about official membership soon.
What now, you ask? Well, you can expect more snaking and sniveling and some efforts for Germany to crank back up using coal to produce BMWs. But, given that places like neighboring Poland have coal shortages… You see the rub, I know. The EU experiment is on the ropes for sure. Even the United States cannot escape the folly of Joe Biden’s handlers this time. Russia supplies 14 to 20 percent of the world’s energy. Let me rephrase this. Russia accounts for almost one-fifth of the world’s total energy, and the world’s energy producers are already at maximum capacity. Let that sink in.
To keep the lights on at Luxembourg banks and in east Germany’s high-tech industry factories without Russian gas, something dramatic has to happen. The Germans will naturally divert as much energy as possible to heavy industry in the west, so the whole eastern edge of the country will be plunged back into a kind of Iron Curtain days situation.
The Germans will have to either suck the energy out of EU citizens’ homes in Romania and Sophia, or back off on the Russophobia. For the United States, the only real solution is to invade Venezuela or vent wide open the fracking industry. And, no matter what happens, nuclear war or not, the planet is going to melt because there never was a green initiative. We are screwed because there never was a plan. The western oligarchs played with smoke and mirrors, and now all of us (except possibly Germans) will burn alive in summer and freeze in winter.
The good news is, Putin and the Russians won this one before it ever started. The bad news is, the EU experiment and all our democratic visions of saving the planet are a farce. It was never about a global community. We were misled, and ended up being led by hapless clowns.
