American Dust In Afghanistan: Responsibility & Punishment – Alexey Osinsky OneWorld

In the current situation, Washington will seek to shift the responsibility for the reconstruction of Afghanistan to Russia and China, as well as the countries of Central Asia, which already do not have extra resources to rebuild their Afghan neighbor.

The issue of Afghanistan, or more precisely, the responsibility of the collective West for the destruction of this country’s economy, remains relevant. No current problems of international life can overshadow it until it finds its practical solution and the final placement of accents in their places.

Soon, almost a year has passed since the United States and its allies left Afghanistan, and no one is going to clean up their “tails”. Independent commissions, primarily under the auspices of the UN, must first calculate in detail the damage caused by the twenty-year stay of the Western military contingent here, and after that the responsibility in financial, legal and even personal terms is painted. Separately, it is necessary to find out how many victims among the Afghan civilian population have arisen over the long twenty years of occupation, not to mention regular medical care for the disabled.

The necessary documentation on this damage is available, and any other important information can be obtained as soon as possible, after the start of such work. The citizens of Afghanistan and the world community should find out how much the American operations under the beautiful names “Operation Freedom’s Sentinel” and “Resolute Support Mission” actually cost this long-suffering people, which eventually, in August 2021, ended with an equally colorful withdrawal operation “Operation Allies Refuge”.

Many analysts believe that the United States has fled Afghanistan, abandoning everything that is possible. But in the context of the proposed work, a final clarification of this issue is also necessary. After all, it is possible that the United States left mountains of serviceable military equipment on this territory only for it to start shooting again, in fact multiplying the 20-year responsibility of the West.

American designers like to portray foreign, from their point of view, “criminals” in the form of playing cards. The moment has come to make a new, Afghan deck of Western, military and civilians who are personally responsible for the destruction of the economy and demography of this state for greater clarity and memorization. This deck should also include the faces of local American accomplices. As a result of such work, it is necessary to finally separate the terrorists from the real patriots of Afghanistan in order to eliminate dangerous confusion for the future.

It is beneficial for the United States and its Western allies that the Afghan issue should become a thing of the past as soon as possible, so that time will cover the topic of their responsibility for the destruction of Afghanistan with dust. The partners of the new Afghan government should address this issue as soon as possible, since without drawing a line under the previous twenty years, it will be difficult not only to build a new national economy, but also to make elementary investments in it. If there is no clarity on this, then Washington, in turn, will try to blame the destruction of the Afghan economy on those who are trying to help it today by substituting concepts.

There was nothing new in American tactics in relation to Afghanistan. Understanding this principle can greatly facilitate the work of commissions to study damage, because it is well known that the United States applies a “destructive” approach to each state after the withdrawal of its military contingent. As a result of Washington’s military operations, states are practically losing the ability to revive the national economy with their own hands. This paragraph may become a separate article of the prosecution, requiring a historical assessment, in order to exclude further replication of such a technique.

The international community, on the scale of the UN, cannot allow the economic destruction of Afghanistan and the further expansion of the humanitarian crisis, which goes far beyond the borders of this state. In the current situation, Washington will seek to shift the responsibility for the reconstruction of Afghanistan to Russia and China, as well as the countries of Central Asia, which already do not have extra resources to rebuild their Afghan neighbor. It is advantageous for Washington that the restoration of the huge Afghan economy should put a heavy burden on the shoulders of these countries in order to try to spread Afghan instability to the Eurasian region.

Taking into account the above circumstances, the friends and neighbors of Afghanistan should accelerate the work on fixing the Western damage to this country and people, so that the process of resuscitation of the economy is as protected as possible.
