Beware The Tricks And Trickery From The Fools Of Foreign Policy – Phil Butler

Before I begin, let me say that we are all tired of rehashing the extent and character of western propaganda via corporate or elite-controlled media and channels. But we must be vigilant in calling them out, and in forcing through the dissenting view on Russia and other key subjects. With that, I give you another case of manufactured reality.

“Anything is better than lies and deceit!” – Leo Tolstoy

Divorced from reality is the kindest term I can use to describe the “experts” America’s elites have lined up to testify against the Russians. Bold-faced liars, the other term that comes to mind for prefacing the battalion of tired colonels, spec-ops mercenaries, and soldiers, turn corporate spokesmen running game on the American public. Get this, the latest Russophobia yarn.

Foreign Policy Magazine. Hmm. There’s our first hint that some deadly BS is about to flow out of somebody’s keyboard. This version claims the U.S. deterrence strategy against the Russians is the cause for Vladimir Putin still being in power. Well, this is between the lines, anyway. But what Liam Collins and Frank Sobchak, retired U.S. Special Forces colonels say is that America “did little to thwart” the invasion of Ukraine. As we all know now, the U.S.’s role was to ensure that Vladimir Putin had to roll tanks into the neighboring country. Read about the Minsk agreements and the confessions of former German Chancellor Angela Merkel here.

The latest Russophobic propaganda from FP also includes plenty of links to a flock of similar goose stories and includes a segment where FP editor-in-chief Ravi Agrawal chats with big thinkers at Brookings and a spook professor working with none other than the Center for Naval Analyses. For longtime NEO readers, what would you expect these policy/strategic geniuses to say? One look at Colonel Sobchak’s swansong from his uniform days, a 1,500-page two-volume set, “The U.S. Army in the Iraq War,” tells any grunt, jarhead, or squid reading here, that FP solicited some more BS against those pesky Ruskies, from a bonafide special forces butt kisser.

Let’s just be real, shall we? He’s working with the MirYam Institute, which is the new version of Our Officers Speak (OSS), and Israeli propaganda dispersion and coercion operation. As for Colonel Collins, from 2016-2018, Collins served as a defense advisor to Ukraine, one of the people assigned to help Kyiv build a NATO stronghold in the country. He’s a senior fellow at New America now, but he spills his scripted war-mongering opinions for CNN, Fox, BBC, and the rest now. He was around to help spin the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Bosnia, and conflict in South America, and the Horn of Africa. Storytellers with special forces badges and eagles attached for show.

As colorful, and funny as these experts and their Foreign Policy mind-numbing are, the Atlantic Council’s Adrian Karatnycky puts the icing on the Alice in Wonderland cake. His is, for all intents and purposes, the genius “exit plan” that nobody in their right mind seems to be able to figure out. Are you ready for this Colonel Douglas MacGregor, heroic truthteller, advise, and authentic American warfighter? Karatnychky says “a defeat by Ukraine could trigger Russians to reexamine their national identity.” No, Doug, I am not joking.

Karatnycky, and the other lunatics who supported the continuance of Boris Yeltsin’s dismemberment of Russia’s legacy via the Democratic Russia Movement (DRM), were crushed and ostracized once Putin began taking back pirated Russian assets for the people of Russia. The former executive director of Freedom House, from 1993 to 2004, was and is one of the henchmen of people like the now deceased Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski, Madeleine Albright, and the likes of Tim Draper, and other business pirates who are still extant. Karatnycky founded the so-called Orange Circle, which was an is affiliated with the worst Russophobes on the planet.

“Tricks and treachery are the practice of fools that don’t have brains enough to be honest.” – Benjamin Franklin

Finally, while is wearying to continually analyze and break down western mainstream media, propaganda, and elitist control, it’s a necessary thing so that we realize the balance. The truth of current world matters is out of balance so far, that the people of the world operate under a kind of hypnosis. It is clear who the perpetrators of these endless crises and wars are. Their vested interests are with the US and British military-industrial complex, western energy Titans, and western investment firms with gnashing teeth ready to bite into Russia and the rest of Eurasia. All these people are being paid, one way or another, to present a fictional reality to further the goals of their benefactors.
