THIS IS NOT FAKE NEWS because the British government have already admitted that it is using subversive tactics to coerce the Brits to comply with their vaccine mandates, with full support from the British Psychological Society. They are working with the BBC, MSM and commerce to promote their propaganda with such ferocity that it puts their wartime efforts to shame.
It is interesting to consider just how different the past 18 months would have been without dozens of Government briefings and constant Covid ad campaigns. The propaganda pushed by the Government as part of its Covid response is the subject of an upcoming public lecture by Dr. Colin Alexander, Senior Lecturer in Political Communications at Nottingham Trent University, In a previous blog post, which gives a taste of the lecture’s content, Dr. Alexander writes that: “The best propaganda is the propaganda that the audience doesn’t realise is propaganda.”
The public information briefings that occurred at about 5pm each day from Downing Street during the first lockdown in spring and summer of 2020 were episodes in propaganda straight out of the wartime playbook. Rather than being ‘public information’ events as they were so described, they were in fact filled with ‘strategic communications’ intent on manipulating the public to the ends of the powerful. They were carefully staged, choreographed and scripted by spin doctors and other political communications professionals working for a Government that is addicted to propaganda and cannot fathom engagement in public communications through any other prism.
Furthermore, the U.K. Government’s approach to Covid briefings in the first half of 2020 may harm the long-term trust of the public in governance and the various organs of state that are entwined with the crisis. Public Health England, for example. Indeed, Chris Witty [Whitty], Patrick Valance [Vallance], Jenny Harries, et al – by standing next to the cabinet minister of the day – may end up tainted as manipulators-in-chief themselves through their (and the organisations that they represent) implicit endorsement of the Government’s approach to public communications.
When/if the Brits wake up to this criminal manipulation their trust in government, such as it is will, to all intents and purposes, collapse to zero and will include that of science in general, public health authorities and the medical profession.
AND the effects on our behaviour have been catastrophic as witnessed by these examples recently:
“A middle-aged woman, walking along a pavement in the afternoon sunshine, sees a young family approaching and instantly becomes stricken with terror at the prospect of contracting a deadly infection.
A man in a queue in a garage kiosk leans into the face of another and screams, “You selfish idiot! Hundreds of people will die because you don’t wear a mask.” The aggressor is oblivious to the fact that his victim suffers a history of asthma and anxiety problems.
A neighbour puts on a face covering and plastic gloves before wheeling her dustbin to the end of her drive. These are three recent examples of many similar events I’ve observed or read. What could be the main reason for such extraordinary behaviour? Has the emergence of the SARS-COV-2 virus magically re-wired our brains, transforming many of us into vindictive germaphobes? No, of course not. These extreme human reactions are, I believe, primarily the result of the Government’s deployment of covert psychological ‘nudges’, introduced as a means of increasing people’s compliance with the Covid restrictions.
The Government’s behavioural scientists in the Scientific Pandemic Insights Group on Behaviours (SPI-B), a subgroup of SAGE offers advice to the Government about how to maximise the impact of its Covid communications strategy.
The methods of influence recommended by the SPI-B are drawn from a range of ‘nudges’ described in the Institute of Government document, MINDSPACE: ‘Influencing behaviour through public policy’, several of which primarily act on the subconscious of their targets – the British people – achieving a covert influence on their behaviour.
The three ‘nudges’ to have evoked the most controversy, among both psychological practitioners and the general public, are: the strategic use of fear (inflating perceived threat levels); shame (conflating compliance with virtue); and peer pressure (portraying non-compliers as a deviant minority) – or ‘affect’, ‘ego’ and ‘norms’, to use the language of behavioural science.” Specific examples of how each of these covert strategies have been used throughout the Covid crisis are described: https://dailysceptic.org/the-dubious-ethics-of-nudging-the-public-to-comply-with-covid-restrictions/
EVEN MORE concerning is the general use of the ‘nudge’ tactics across the board from local governments to commercial organisations. National and local governments are making worrying use of targeted online advertising based on sensitive personal data to “nudge” the behaviour of the country at large, University of Edinburgh academics are warning.
In one example cited, the National Crime Agency collected data about young people to whom it made “knock and talk” visits, using the information to craft profiles of “at-risk” teens. Those profiles could then be used to run “influence policing” campaigns online.
Ben Collier from the university warned such practices could encourage departments to play fast and loose with personal data, while also being counter-productive. Frequently, such campaigns were being outsourced to third-party marketing agencies, a practice the researchers argue must stop. In a more benign example, people who bought candles online might find themselves receiving fire safety tips from their Amazon Alexa speaker.
“The British government’s fondness for minor behavioural modification tactics began in the David Cameron era. Since the foundation of the Behavioural Insight Team – or “nudge unit” – at No 10, ministers eagerly looked for tweaks to help people pay car tax or encourage people to buy loft insulation.
The examples of influence government uncovered by the SCCCJ range from deeply serious to almost endearingly silly. At one end of the spectrum is the National Crime Agency’s “Cyber-Prevent” programme, which involves identifying young people at risk of becoming involved in cybercrime.
Some arms of the programme, which is modelled on the anti-radicalisation Prevent scheme, involve traditional “knock and talk” visits, where NCA officers make a home visit to try to work with the young person’s parents to steer them to a different life path.
But that part of the programme also involves the NCA collecting a substantial amount of data about the young people it visits, which can be used to craft profiles of the typical “at-risk” teen. Those profiles can then be used to run an “influence policing” campaign, using targeted advertising aimed at UK teens with an interest in gaming who search for particular cybercrime services:” https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2021/sep/08/study-finds-growing-government-use-of-sensitive-data-to-nudge-behaviour
AND – here is another example of how the government uses subversive behavioural methods to prepare the British public for further central control restrictions. They ‘float’ draft policies in advance to gauge reactions before going in feet first.
“With deaths within 28 days of a positive test reaching 209 – their highest level since 1 March – and 37,489 positive cases on Tuesday, scientists warned that restrictions could again be necessary in the coming months, such as limits on gatherings and a return to compulsory indoor masking.
Asked about the idea of a firebreak during the next school holiday, Boris Johnson’s official spokesperson said it was “not true that the government is planning a lockdown or firebreak around the October half-term”. However, he made it clear that further restrictions such as a two-week circuit breaker remained an option if the NHS were to be overwhelmed.” And just like before in March 2020 – it was ‘just two weeks to save the NHS’. So, what are the Jabs for? It looks like they aren’t working but none of the scientists are admitting it. Their view is to do more jabbing ad infinitum – it looks like we are in an unending loop:
“Speaking in a personal capacity, Prof Julian Hiscox, chair in infection and global health at the University of Liverpool and a member of Nervtag, said: “Every winter we have seen how influenza affects hospital admissions and we have this with a bigger scale with Covid-19.
“A firebreak, if necessary, is a good idea. The rising case rates and breakthrough in previously vaccinated people emphasises the need to administer a vaccine booster right now in preparation for winter and in parallel to the flu vaccine campaign. This will protect against serious disease and help keep hospital admissions down.” There is little hope but for Britain to resist: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/sep/07/no-10-not-ruling-out-firebreak-lockdown
SO – where does all this military grade psychological warfare on our own citizens get us? This article has some profound messages for those buying into the government propaganda.
“I’m speaking to everyone who persists in uncritically accepting the rationales being given for remaking our world into an open-air prison. I’m speaking to everyone who is sleepwalking into their own enslavement without a second thought, without even the willingness to examine the situation from a perspective outside the one they’ve been programmed to believe.
Had we not been subjected to a global case of Baader–Meinhof phenomenon orchestrated by experts in mass control like the Behavioural Insights Team—unabashedly described as “the Nudge Unit” at the UK government’s website—and implemented across the MSM and social media, you would be still be living and loving life the same way you were two years ago. All of us would be.
But then we wouldn’t have willingly forfeited our rights, one by one, out of terror. We wouldn’t have started perceiving our fellow human beings as bioweapons to be shamed, ostracized, and eliminated.
Medical segregation further divides an already fragmented populace, making us ever easier to control. The psychological trauma of this isolation and splintering is incalculable, and the full extent of the damage will likely not be comprehended for decades.” Read the full article: https://off-guardian.org/2021/09/07/letter-to-a-covidian-a-time-travel-experiment/
IT”S part of the government nudge technique to allow periods of relaxation before moving on to the next phase. For example, chronic neglect of the NHS, poor pandemic preparedness and flawed government policies have contributed to the appalling impact of the Covid-19 crisis in the UK, according to the British Medical Association. In a speech tonight, Dr Chaand Nagpaul, the BMA’s chair of council, will warn that doctors “will not accept a return to the old pre-pandemic NHS, which was so patently understaffed and under-resourced”. Meanwhile, plans to introduce vaccine passports across England next month have been shelved in a U-turn by the government.
But Conservative opponents fear they could still be made mandatory later this year amid a warning the NHS faces “the worst winter in living memory”. In Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon thinks the Covid-era solidarity between her government and Westminster should pave the way for agreement on a second independence referendum. In the US, Joe Biden’s plan to mandate vaccines for millions of workers continues to attract fierce opposition from Republicans. Asa Hutchinson, the governor of Arkansas, said it “divides and disrupts” the nation. I think that ‘bombs’ are going explode this winter as the global PsyOps unfold.
AND leading on from vaccine passports, plans for this winter have been announced according to The Telegraph newspaper. Boris will make clear this week he is “dead set” against another national lockdown as he rips up the old system of Covid rules and adopts a new approach for winter. He will argue to Parliament and in a press conference that the UK must learn to live with Covid-19 now that all adults have been offered a vaccine.
Covid laws that are no longer required will be ditched and plans for vaccine passports for nightclubs and other large crowd venues have been shelved. The travel traffic lights system will be scrapped, PCR tests will not be required for fully vaccinated travellers and, The Telegraph understands, the red list will be significantly reduced.
In a sign of the importance placed on the jabs program, vaccinations for children aged 12 to 15 and autumn boosters for scores of adults will also be rolled out, pending approval from scientific advisers. But some restrictions, such as new face mask mandates and guidance urging people to once again work from home will remain as options should the virus surge in the months ahead.
Discussing the new approach, sources in the inner circle said it would reflect both the success of the vaccine rollout and the continued threat from Covid. A senior Government source told The Telegraph of the argument Mr Johnson would make: “This is the new normal. We need to learn to live with Covid. “The vaccines are a wall of defence. The autumn and the winter do offer some uncertainty, but the Prime Minister is dead set against another lockdown.”
Unlike in America, where Biden is running roughshod over all the constitutional safeguards, the British people are gaining some degree of normal albeit very much temporary at present.
BREXIT: Brexit “gloom-mongers” have been proved wrong following the UK’s departure from the European Union, Britain’s Brexit minister Lord Frost has told Parliament. The nation was “prospering vastly” following the split from Brussels, Lord Frost said as he stressed the British government’s aim to create “a high wage, high productivity economy”, rather than one “reliant on cheap labour”.
VACCINE ADVERSE REACTIONS: “Dozens of freedom of information requests have been made to Public Health England (PHE) over the past few months requesting to know how many people have died within 28 days of having a Covid-19 vaccine, but each and every time PHE have claimed they do “not hold the information requested”. Official Office for National Statistics data has inadvertently revealed that 30,305 people have died within twenty-one days of having a Covid-19 vaccine in England during the first 6 months of 2021.” Details here: https://theexpose.uk/2021/09/15/30k-people-died-within-21-days-of-having-a-covid-19-vaccine-in-england/
