Cheap Lives Of Ukrainian Conscripts Sacrificed For “Saving” Expensive And Useless NATO Armor

How much losses can the Ukrainian army take? NATO tactics do not work. This counter offensive is failing. The most recent assault operations were carried out by Ukrainian infantry without almost any armored vehicle support, which signals that despite large supplies from NATO, the Ukrainian Army already suffers from a lack of NATO heavy military equipment that has proven useless and easily destroyed and that they have already massively lost in the “Spring Offensive” or is saving what it remains for the upcoming escalation. All of this while losses in manpower continue to grow.

According to the reports from the front, the Ukrainian military likely began another wave of massive offensive on the southern front lines.

The local authorities confirmed that on the evening of July 6, Ukrainian forces sharply increased their operations on a wide front of up to 30 kilometers in the Zaporozhie region. In the area of Orehov the Ukrainian Army launched attacks on Russian positions near Nesteryanka and Kopani to the south and Novofedorovka, Verbovoe to the southeast. The attacks are carried out by small assault groups of reserve units that were not previously involved in operations. All Ukrainian attacks thus far have resulted in no victories at the cost of heavy losses.

To the west, Ukrainian units continue constant attacks near the village of Pyatikhatki, where they have already lost dozens of units of military equipment while achieving no gains on the ground.

There, the Ukrainian command uses the same tactics of constant attacks by small assault groups in an attempt to exhaust the Russian defense.

According to local reports, up to five waves of attacks were launched from Pyatikhatki towards Zherebyanki over the past day. After intense artillery shelling, troops of the 128th mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian army went on the offensive. The first four waves were mainly stopped by Russian minefields and dispersed by artillery fire. By the evening, the fifth and largest assault began. It reportedly involved up to 200 fighters that were covered by Ukrainian artillery but were thrown into battle without almost any armored vehicles. Ukrainian assault groups were spotted in advance by Russian reconnaissance UAVs and destroyed by Russian fire.

In the Kherson region, the Ukrainian military has already reportedly lost several hundred fighters under the Antonovsky Bridge, where they have gained a stronghold but failed to develop their success and advance. The Ukrainian grouping on the eastern bank of the Dnieper River is constantly shelled by Russian artillery, as well as TOS-1 MLRS utilizing thermobaric warheads, FAB bombs, and even Iskander missiles.

Despite heavy losses, the Ukrainian military command is again preparing new forces to throw them on Russian positions. After a months of futile bloody offensive operations, Kiev urgently needs to show some victories on the battlefield to please its Western patrons. In recent weeks, the Ukrainian military has been pulling reserves up to the southern frontlines, transferring them closer to the front by small parts under the cover of night. These are units that did not take part in the first stage of the offensive, including the so-called “Offensive Guard”.

Kiev forces continue to sustain human and material losses while attempting to advance as a part of their ongoing counteroffensive.

Several videos that surfaced online on July 7 and 8 showed some of the losses the Russian military inflicted on Kiev forces in different directions.

Two of the videos show recent strikes with FPV suicide drones against a group of Ukrainian troops as well as a T-72 main battel tank in an unspecified direction. A third video shows a strike with a Lancet loitering munition against an American-made AN/TPQ-49 counter battery radar that was deployed near Kupyanks.

Other videos showed pinpoint artillery strikes against an ammunition stockpile of Kiev forces near Kremennaya, a group of Ukrainian troops near Bakhmut and a military vehicle in an unspecified direction.

Kiev forces also continue to suffer losses in NATO-supplied equipment. A video from the direction of Zaporozhye shows another destroyed American-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle along with an unidentified engineering vehicle near Malaya Tokmachka.

With Ukraine’s counteroffensive not going according to plans, the United States has made the decision to arm Kiev forces with cluster munitions.

Russian ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, said on July 7 that the decision is an admission of failure and a desperate attempt to stave off defeat.

“Cluster munitions are a gesture of desperation. Such a measure speaks of the awareness of the U.S. and its satellites of their impotence,” Antonov told reporters. “However, they do not want to admit their own setbacks and the failure of the Ukrainian military’s attempts to carry out an offensive against the Russian regions. Therefore, they commit new acts of madness.”

Washington continues to raise the stakes in the conflict “with tenacity worthy of a better use,” Antonov said, calling the current level of US provocations “really off the scale, bringing humanity closer to a new world war.”

Ukraine’s plan to join NATO also appears to be failing. President Joe Biden told CNN in an interview previewed on July 7 that the U.S. is willing to offer Kiev a sort of security arrangement currently offered to Israel instead of membership in the alliance.

“I don’t think it’s ready for membership in NATO,” Biden said. “I don’t think there is unanimity in NATO about whether or not to bring Ukraine into the NATO family now, at this moment, in the middle of a war.”

Membership in the U.S.-led alliance means a commitment to defend all of its territory, so “if the war is going on, then we’re all in a war. We’re at war with Russia, if that were the case,” Biden told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria.

Meanwhile, Poland continues to deploy troops on the border with Belarus. Warsaw’s 12th Mechanized Division announced on July 7 that around 1,000 troops and 200 units of equipment will be stationed in the eastern province of Podlasie, located alongside the border with Belarus.

The Polish military said that the deployment is meant to counter “attempts to destabilize” the region. However, Minsk said that the deployment is meant to support Belarusian coup-plotters who are being trained on Polish soil.

Precious Trophy: Russian Forces Captured Storm Shadow Missile

Russian troops received a precious trophy on the Ukrainian front lines. On July 7, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation completed a two-day operation to deliver a British Storm Shadow missile that fell in the Zaporozhye region to Moscow.

The missile was delivered to one of the defense enterprises in Moscow. Russian specialists will study the system of these weapons and share the information with the military from air defense forces, which will allow the Russians to find the most effective ways to combat them.

Dmitry Rogozin, now the head of the Military Technical Center “Tsar Wolves”, commented on the incident, claiming that servicemen of the BARS-11 volunteer detachment and the command of the Tsar Wolves unit managed to take British Storm Shadow cruise missile from the battlefield in a gray zone. It was only partially destroyed but it was decided to disassemble it for ease of transportation.

Group of Ukrainian servicemen was send to attack Russian forces and prevent them from taking the missile.

“There was a GPS tracker, which could guide the enemy group. Despite the fact that we blocked it, our fighters could not sleep with this missile, they moved all the time and even took the fight — there was an attempt by the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance group to intercept a car with a rocket and an escort car on the road,” Rogozin added.
