Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin has urged employees of the enterprises in the areas temporarily occupied by Kiev not to allow terrorist attacks to happen, Donbass News Agency reports.
“Regrettably, we have received information that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) planned to blast two enterprises – Ilych Iron and Steel Works and Azovstal in Mariupol,” Pushilin said on Russia24 television channel. “As Donbass residents, we value what we have; we value our infrastructure, our plants and factories; we think about the future.”
“I strongly request you to do everything you can, so that the Ukrainian regime has no opportunity to commit this crime,” Pushilin said addressing the companies’ workforce.
The DPR leader underlined that there was no threat to civilians in Ukraine.
“They are our relatives and friends, who have got tired of the state they have been in the past eight years, the no-peace-no-war state, the state of neo-Nazi fits. I can say that it will end very soon, “ Pushilin said adding that “today is the day we’ve long been waiting for.”
Overnight to February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a special military operation in Donbass.
