Pitting Nations Against Each Other: NATO Instructors Arrive In Baku To Train Azeris, While Blinken Meets Pashinyan To Discuss “Security” Of Armenia

Military personnel will be trained by NATO in the use of databases at the stage of planning and implementation of activities, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
 
BAKU, September 24. /TASS/. Instructors from NATO countries arrived in Baku to organize training within the framework of the Database Training Course, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

“The international instructors of the OCC E&F Database Training Course to be held in Azerbaijan have arrived in Baku. At the preparatory stage, local and foreign instructors are clarifying the course’s topics and the assigned objectives. The main purpose of the course is to train servicemen involved in the OCC program at NATO headquarters and partner countries to apply the database at the planning and implementation stage of OCC activities,” the statement said.

WASHINGTON, September 24. /TASS/. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said he met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York and they discussed the security of Armenia.

“We discussed Armenia’s security. We continue to urge the parties to engage in the peace process, as there can be no military solution to the conflict” between Baku and Yerevan, Blinken said on Twitter. He said the meeting took place on September 22, Tass reports.
