Puppet Zelensky Says He Fired His Own Appointees, Chief of Security Services And Chief Prosecutor, For Being “Pro-Russian”

When the corrupt installed warmongering puppet gets into the last stage of paranoia and sees even his own appointee and childhood friend Bakanov as “suddenly pro-Russian”, then it seems that truth may be that a large majority of the Ukrainian population is pro-Russian or Russian too. Ukraine’s security and prosecutor services have been riddled with “traitors” and Russia’s “collaborators,” the Zelensky claimed. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday fired Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova and the SBU boss Ivan Bakanov, citing allegedly rampant “treason” in both services.

“As of today, some 651 criminal cases have been registered on high treason and collaboration activities of employees of the prosecutor’s office, pre-trial investigation bodies, and other law enforcement agencies,” Zelensky stated, announcing the decision.

Amid the ongoing conflict with Russia, “more than 60 employees of the law enforcement agencies and the SBU” remained in the “occupied territory” and are now working against Ukraine, Zelensky claimed. That vast “array of crimes,” as well as contacts between “employees of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine and Russia,” are posing “serious questions” to the heads of the respective bodies, he went on, warning that “every such question will get an appropriate answer.”

Bakanov, who assumed the spy-chief post shortly after Zelensky’s presidential victory in 2019, was removed under Article 47 of the Disciplinary Statute of the Ukrainian military. The article refers specifically to a serious failure in official duties “which caused loss of life or other grave consequences or create a threat of such consequences.” Read More

  • More than 60 employees in both offices “remained in the occupied territory and are working against our state,” Zelensky said in a press release.
  • “Such an array of crimes against the foundations of the national security of the state and the connections detected between the employees of the security forces of Ukraine and the special services of Russia pose very serious questions to the relevant leadership,” Zelensky said.
  • “As of today, 651 criminal proceedings have been registered regarding treason and collaboration activities of employees of prosecutor’s offices, pretrial investigation bodies, and other law enforcement agencies,” Zelensky added.

Zelensky and Bakanov go way back.
