China accused the White House of lying about Joe Biden’s conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Joe Biden spoke with Xi Jinping in a lengthy phone call this week where China warned the US not to let Pelosi visit Taiwan.
Chinse President Xi Jinping warned Joe Biden over Taiwan during the phone call: ‘Those who play with fire will perish by it.’
The controversy started when White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters soon after the call that Biden “raised genocide and forced labor practices by the [People’s Republic of China],” explaining that is something the president “always does” when he speaks with Xi.
China immediately responded to Karine Jean-Pierre’s statements and accused her of lying with Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian vehemently rejecting this account in a Friday statement, saying:
“Pure lies,” MFA spokesperson Lijian Zhao said of the White House’s claim. “White House spokesperson said the issues of genocide and forced labor were mentioned in the call last night, that is false information.”
According to White House Press Secretary, “genocide” & “forced labor” came up in last night’s call between Chinese & US Presidents. That is disinformation. pic.twitter.com/sKdZQfqVnJ

The Biden Regime could clear this up by releasing transcripts of Biden’s conversation with Xi (they won’t).
Curiously, neither the Chinese government’s nor the White House’s call readouts mention anything regarding the Uyghurs in particular, but only an ultra-broad “discussed a range of issues” phrase was used by the Biden administration in its press release.
In follow-up, The New York Post questioned the Biden administration about the matter, with a National Security Council spokesman saying, “I’m not going to get into a back and forth with a PRC government spokesperson.”
The NSC official added, “The president raised concerns about human rights with President Xi, as he always does. He was crystal clear about his concerns. He also raised the need to resolve the cases of American citizens who are wrongfully detained or subject to exit bans in China.”
…so somebody is indeed lying, given the clear discrepancy.
Meanwhile, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is en route to the region on her Asia tour, which might include an ultra-provocative stopover in Taiwan…
“Don’t say we didn’t warn you!” Analysts warned at a top-level think tank forum that open options in military and comprehensive countermeasures ranging from economy and diplomacy from China will wait if Pelosi gambles to visit Taiwan island.

Biden suffered a similar humiliation after he departed the Middle East following a visit with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
In an effort to save face, Joe Biden told reporters he confronted MBS about Khashoggi’s murder.
“He [MBS] basically said that he was not personally responsible for it. I indicated that I thought he was,” Biden told reporters.
According to Fox News, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir undermined Joe Biden after he departed Saudi Arabia on Air Force One.
The Saudi FM (at the behest of MBS) called Fox News on Saturday after Biden already left and claimed he “did not hear” Joe Biden tell MBS he believed he was responsible for Khashoggi’s murder.
NEW: After POTUS departed Saudi Arabia on AF1, Saudi FM Adel al-Jubeir called my colleague @AlexHoganTV back for a 2nd interview – even though Fox interviewed him yday.
He pointedly claimed he “did not hear” Biden tell MBS he believed he was responsible for Khashoggi’s murder
