Pushilin: We Will Rebuild Liberated War-Torn Soledar As We Rebuilt Mariupol

DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic authorities plan to rebuild Soledar using Mariupol’s experience, DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin said on Monday.

“We plan to focus on putting up apartment buildings in this settlement. Things are always more difficult with single-family home neighborhoods: even partial rebuilding does not appear possible given the devastation we see in Soledar and its outskirts, ” Pushilin said on Russia 24 news channel.”

The authorities have estimated the costs to relaunch Artyomsol, Europe’s largest salt producer located in the town, he added.

Soledar is a small town outside Artyomovsk in the north of the Donetsk People’s Republic.  If was fully liberated from Kiev forces on January 13.

Russia is now completing the fast rebuilding of Mariupol, the city it liberated last summer. Throughout the city, Russian workers were tearing down bombed-out buildings at a rate of at least one a day, and new buildings were built at a very quick rate.
