Russian President Putin exposed his American counterpart’s psy-op that falsely blames him for the energy crisis by appealing to ordinary Westerners to see through this information warfare campaign. In his words, “I want ordinary Western people to hear me as well. You are being persistently told that your current difficulties are the result of Russia’s hostile actions and that you have to pay from your own pockets for the efforts to counter the alleged Russian threat. All of that is a lie.” This follows similar such remarks that he made earlier in the month:

“The prices there (for energy carriers in the EU countries – TASS) are growing, but not through our fault. This is the result of their own miscalculations. They should not blame us for this. The same applies to the surge in prices for oil and petroleum products in the United States.

They announced that they were closing the import of Russian oil to the American market, prices there are high, inflation is unprecedentedly high, probably reached all-time highs. They are trying to shift blame for the results of their own mistakes on us. This is a negligible volume, and their prices are rising.

We have absolutely nothing to do with it, and even here the ban on Russian oil imports has absolutely nothing to do with it. They just hide behind these decisions in order to once again deceive their own population.”

The reality is that the West’s ideologically driven obsession with accelerating the ongoing systemic transition towards green energy as fast as possible is responsible for skyrocketing prices, as are its unprovoked and preplanned anti-Russian sanctions that sabotaged the Nord Stream II pipeline with Germany. The US-led West was already in the throes of a major economic crisis partially caused by their uncoordinated response to the COVID-19 pandemic but which was truly attributable to the shaky financial foundations underpinning their economies this entire time.

Instead of acknowledging these three interconnected realities, it’s much more “politically convenient” for them to simply blame President Putin instead by falsely claiming that his country’s special military operation in Ukraine is the cause for the average Westerner’s latest woes. To this end, Biden even drafted TikTok stars to lead this information warfare campaign, which shows just how extensive his psy-op has become as well as the desperate lengths to which he’ll go to mislead the American people. Regrettably, it seems to be working among many, who now angrily blame President Putin for this.

There’s almost no chance that his appeal to the Western people will be given the airtime that it deserves in that civilizational sphere except perhaps if brave journalists like Tucker Carlson pick it up and decide to discuss it. Even then, however, he and whoever else might do that will simply be smeared as so-called “Russian propagandists” in an attempt to discredit President Putin’s factually correct assessment of the situation. At all costs, the US-led West will do whatever it can to prevent its people from realizing the truth behind their latest woes, which are entirely due to their own leaders’ policies.

Propaganda is inextricably connected to every conflict, but Biden’s latest psy-op takes the cake both because of how far he’s going to wage this latest information warfare campaign via his administration’s recruitment of TikTok stars as well as the completely ridiculous narrative that he’s spewing in the first place. There is absolutely no basis whatsoever to the claim that President Putin is responsible for the West’s latest energy crisis since it’s actually caused by the West’s own policies. Those who claim otherwise are either deliberately deceiving others or have already been deceived themselves.
