Russia’s Upcoming International Anti-Fascist Congress Has A Strategic Purpose – Andrew Korybko OneWorld

Illegal sanctions, unjustified censorship, and the coerced imposition of the Western “democratic” model onto the Global South are some of the most prominent examples of modern-day fascism that go beyond this ideology’s stereotypically ethnic connotations. By informing the public about this, Russia can strategically ensure that they’re finally able to better understand what the Kremlin means when it decries the revival of fascism across the US-led West.

Russia’s Upcoming International Anti-Fascist Congress Is An Important Soft Power Move”, as the author explained earlier this month, but it also has a very strategic unstated purpose too. Apart from exposing the revival of fascism all across the world and particularly in the US-led West, it’ll also articulate an updated definition of this concept. In its most basic form, fascism is all about supremacy, which has come to be associated with ethnic connotations due to Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan’s implementations of this ideology. There’s more to it than just that, though, which the entire world needs to urgently become aware of in order to accept the regrettable reality of this concept’s revival in modern times prior to brainstorming creative solutions for countering it.

First off, many folks forget that Italy was also a fascist state that committed widespread atrocities across Africa and especially against the Ethiopian people. This means that the Horn of Africa leader, the surrounding countries that were also occupied by that Southern European fascist empire, and Libya must also be invited to participate in the upcoming congress since it wouldn’t be complete without them. Furthermore, Ethiopia and Libya are some of the latest victims of the West’s fascists policies, as is Eritrea. The first recently survived the US-led West’s TPLF-driven fascist Hybrid War of Terror, the second was utterly destroyed during NATO’s War on Libya, while the third has been living under sanctions for many years now.

On that last-mentioned topic, it’s important to make everyone aware that sanctions are also fascist whenever they’re illegally imposed outside the purview of the UNSC, which is the world’s legal authority as enshrined in the UN Charter. The so-called “Malinowski Bill” against Ethiopia represents humanitarian imperialism at its most malicious, as the author realized in mid-February, which should also be universally condemned by all those who are sincerely against fascism’s revival. Simply put, the upcoming congress must connect unilateral sanctions with fascism in order to expose the US-led West’s most popular mechanism for enforcing its self-believed supremacy over all others. This will help rally the Global South by informing their societies that they’re also victims of fascism just like Russia is.

The censoring of international media outlets without pretext (or even on false pretexts) is another form of fascism designed to manipulate those countries’ people into supporting their fascist governments. That’s precisely what’s happening across the West after RT and Sputnik were just banned for no legitimate reason. Unlike those Western Mainstream Media outlets that are weaponized against their targeted foreign societies as instruments of Hybrid War, Russia’s counterparts have never credibly been employed in such a way despite groundless claims by the US and its vassals. All that America and its underlings are trying to do is brainwash their populations into supporting their governments’ fascist policies against that Eurasian Great Power and others.

The commencement of Russia’s ongoing special military operation in Ukraine resulted in the West taking off its so-called “democratic” mask and revealing its fascist face. The preplanned unprecedented sanctions and infowar against that civilization-state were unleashed under that pretext in order to preserve an unconvincing veneer of “plausible deniability” amidst Russia’s credible claims that that they were plotting to destabilize it this entire time no matter what. Ideology was falsely thought to have died after the end of the Old Cold War but the reality is that is pervaded society so profusely that it began to become ubiquitous to the point where nobody even talks about it anymore. In particular, the US-led West’s self-described “liberal-democratic” ideology was really just a cover for the revival of fascism.

It couldn’t be publicly talked about though except when accusing Russia, China, Iran, or any of the US’ other rivals of embracing this despicable ideology but the ideological differences between the West and the Rest eventually became impossible to deny, ergo the Biden Administration’s attempts to raise renewed awareness of its country’s supposedly “liberal-democratic” ideology during last December’s “Summit for Democracy”. Like the author explained at the time, China was correct in describing the US’ aggressive export of its “democratic” model as a Weapon of Mass Destruction that’s regularly employed by its military-intelligence structures to destabilize targeted countries across the Global South (which includes Russia in this context since it’s abused as such by the “Golden Billion”).

The goal, as with every fascist policy promulgated by the West, is to maintain that civilization’s supremacy above all others. To sum it all up, illegal sanctions, unjustified censorship, and the coerced imposition of the Western “democratic” model onto the Global South are some of the most prominent examples of modern-day fascism that go beyond this ideology’s stereotypically ethnic connotations. By informing the public about this, Russia can strategically ensure that they’re finally able to better understand what the Kremlin means when it decries the revival of fascism across the US-led West. With these notions in mind, it’s imperative that the fascist-victimized Global South is properly represented at the congress in order to uphold this event’s credibility.
