Soros’ Declaration Of Hybrid War Against India Is Aimed At Subverting Its Independence – Andrew Korybko

The New York Times revived popular information warfare narratives against India, the BBC took them to an extreme, a US-based short-seller recently waged economic war on it, and now George Soros just admitted their shared regime change goal there. By contrast, he and his liberal-globalist minions in the Mainstream Media are united in their support of newly re-elected and now three-time Brazilian President Lula da Silva, who that Color Revolution mastermind lavishly praised in the same speech where he declared Hybrid War on India.

One of the most unexpected developments to emerge from the special operation that Russia was forced by the US-led West’s Golden Billion into commencing is India’s rapid rise as a globally significant Great Power over the past year. This South Asian state has masterfully balanced between that aforementioned de facto New Cold War bloc and the jointly BRICS– & SCO-led Global South of which it’s a part and aspires to lead, which has in turn accelerated the global systemic transition’s evolution to tripolarity.

The preceding hyperlinks provide crucial insight into this process, which is beyond the scope of the present piece to explain in detail, hence why intrepid readers are being referred to prior analysis if they’d like to learn more. This geostrategic backdrop places a recent sequence of events into context for helping the reader understand why India is being targeted by the Golden Billion as punishment for its truly independent domestic and foreign policies.

The New York Times (NYT) set this trend into motion on the last day of the past year by acknowledging India’s previously described rise but also throwing shade on it by fearmongering that it’s unsustainable due to supposedly irreconcilable socio-political differences that doom it to destabilization. The BBC then followed up by releasing a socalled “documentary” aimed at externally exacerbating these aforesaid wedges, after which an infamous short-seller manipulated national champion Adani’s stock price.

The latest piece of evidence proving the existence of the Golden Billion’s Hybrid War on India came when Color Revolution mastermind George Soros openly declared that he hopes to see regime change unfold there sometime soon. What follows are the exact words that he said about that country during his speech at this year’s Munich Security Conference according to his official website, which will then be placed into context so as to more effectively analyze them at length:

“India is an interesting case. It’s a democracy, but its leader Narendra Modi is no democrat. Inciting violence against Muslims was an important factor in his meteoric rise.

Modi maintains close relations with both open and closed societies. India is a member of the Quad (which also includes Australia, the US, and Japan), but it buys a lot of Russian oil at a steep discount and makes a lot of money on it.

Reverting to India, Modi and business tycoon Adani are close allies; their fate is intertwined. Adani Enterprises tried to raise funds in the stock market, but he failed. Adani is accused of stock manipulation and his stock collapsed like a house of cards. Modi is silent on the subject, but he will have to answer questions from foreign investors and in parliament.

This will significantly weaken Modi’s stranglehold on India’s federal government and open the door to push for much needed institutional reforms.

I may be naïve, but I expect a democratic revival in India.”

Soros just let the cat out of the bag by confirming conjecture that the sequence of events that was just described wasn’t coincidental but part of the West’s Hybrid War on India. He touched upon India’s domestic socio-political issues that the NYT first brought back to the Western public’s attention before the BBC subsequently exploited them to the max with its so-called “documentary”. Then he tried tying Prime Minister Modi’s political fortunes to a US-based short-seller’s manipulation of Adani’s stock price.

Most damningly, Soros ended his screed against India by predicting that all those events will collectively catalyze far-reaching political processes that could ultimately culminate in ousting Prime Minister Modi’s BJP. That outcome would represent a game-changer in the New Cold War by resulting in the replacement of India’s multipolar leadership with unipolar puppets that would dump Russia and go to war with China at the West’s behest, both of which would be against that country’s national interests.

Liberal-globalist Indian intellectuals like Bloomberg’s Bobby Ghosh, Jawaharlal Nehru University’s Happymon Jacob, and the much more famous C. Raja Mohan have all lobbied over the past year for India to concede on those selfsame interests by voluntarily subjugating itself to Western hegemony. They despise India’s balancing act between the Golden Billion and the Global South, and all of them are especially disgusted with its broader balancing act between nationalism and internationalism.

They won’t ever openly say so since it would immediately expose them as agents of American influence and anti-Indian information warriors, but their worldview can be summarized as them considering their country to be a “fascist dictatorship” that’s morphed into a “rogue state” in recent years, one which must urgently be “civilized and tamed” by the US-led West before it “massacres millions of Muslims” and tips the scales of the New Cold War in favor of “autocracies” like Russia.

This is the exact same worldview as Soros’, to whom these liberal-globalist Indian intellectuals look for ideological guidance. They’re united by their desire to discredit India’s ruling party, its policies (both domestic and international), and foment the conditions for violently advancing regime change against it. The NYT revived popular information warfare narratives, the BBC took them to an extreme, a US-based short-seller waged economic war on India, and now Soros just admitted their regime change goal.

By contrast, Soros and his liberal-globalist minions in the Mainstream Media are united in their support of newly re-elected and now three-time Brazilian President Lula da Silva, who that Color Revolution mastermind lavishly praised in the same speech where he declared Hybrid War on India. Unlike Prime Minister Modi, Lula has condemned Russia on two occasions thus far, including in a joint statement with US President Joe Biden. He’s Soros’ “fellow traveler”, while Prime Minister Modi is Soros’ nemesis.

The Brazilian leader parroted Biden, Soros, and all other liberal-globalists’ worldwide agenda ahead of his meeting with the US leader earlier this month by telling everyone that “It’s necessary that we establish a new kind of conversation so that we can build a world governance that would be more stronger, because the climate change issue, if we don’t have a strong global governance that can make decisions and that all countries should abide to — if we don’t do that, it’s not going to work.”

This is literally the polar opposite worldview of India’s conservative-sovereigntist leadership, which Minister of External Affairs Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has articulated on multiple occasions, which readers can learn more about here and here. Far from voluntarily ceding its hard-earned sovereignty to a tacitly Western-controlled global government like Lula wants to do, Prime Minister Modi’s India is proudly fighting to protect its domestic and foreign policymaking independence.

That South Asian Great Power also supports traditional values, so much so that there’s been a major revival of Hindu ones in the almost one decade since the BJP returned to power, which is something that Soros and his ideological ilk regard as an unforgiveable offense. They envisage transforming Global South cultures into an amorphous blob driven by consumerist impulses, the grand strategic goal of which is threatened by patriotic leaders like India’s who treasure their civilizational heritage.

For these reasons, the Golden Billion has targeted that country for regime change through the aforementioned sequence of events that Soros himself placed into their proper Hybrid War context. Some Western policymakers are pragmatic enough to understand the importance of respecting India’s sovereignty and the irreplaceable role that it plays as the New Cold War’s kingmaker, but it’s unclear whether this faction will triumph over their ideological rivals who want to destabilize India at all costs.
