Alexander Dugin argues that, despite their flaws, Western conservatives are strategic allies against Russia’s main enemies, the left liberals and globalists.
Very strange interpretations of Trump and Vance are circulating in our networks.
On one hand, criticizing and distrusting them shows we are relying more on our own strength. This is good; we need a self-sufficient Russia, independent from anyone, with a strong army, sovereign economy, and truly Russian intellectual elite. We need this kind of Russia, not the one we have now. We are working towards it.
On the other hand, we must understand what is happening in the USA, the West, and the world. There is a deadly battle between progressives and conservatives, globalists and traditionalists (even nationalists, as many Western traditions do not go deeper than modernity, and nationalism is a modern phenomenon). This is a real civil war.
Neither side is pro-Russian. But we are already in direct conflict with one side and are on the brink of nuclear exchange. The key word is “already.” Not “might be,” but currently are and currently balancing. Our main enemy is the left liberals, convinced globalists, and neocons (former Marxists and Trotskyists). We are at war with them. This includes Biden, Blinken, Macron, Nuland, Sullivan — the liberal front.
Against them, a wave of conservative opponents is rising in the USA and the EU. Not because of Ukraine or Russia, but due to their internal issues and disagreements. This wave is growing stronger and winning more victories.
Biden’s debate failures, the failed assassination attempt on Trump, Vance’s nomination, the success of right-wing populists in the EU elections, Orbán’s faction… All this weakens our main enemy, with whom we are at war and on the brink of apocalypse.
Then we hear: “Trump cannot be trusted; Vance is not who he seems; Orbán is not our friend,” etc. Yes, they cannot be trusted; yes, they are not who they seem; yes, they are not our friends. But they are the enemies of our enemies. Is that not enough? Under Trump, we were not at war with the West. Orbán — and even more so Vance — are firmly against supporting the Nazi terrorist regime in Ukraine.
Here is the interesting part: the negative image of Western conservatives is a strategy by the left-liberal forces in the West, with whom we are at war. As long as we fear them, label them with scary tags, and look for flaws, our main enemy will recover. The rise of right-wing populists like Le Pen was curbed by liberals like Macron through an alliance with the left and by demonizing conservatives.
Those who supply missiles to Kiev for strikes deep into Russia continue to scare us with the “right-wing threat” in the USA and Europe. As if orthodox communists or social democrats are in power in Russia… But our country is also ruled by conservatives, and the direction towards traditional values has been declared. Any conservative in the West or East is inherently closer to us than LGBT supporters, gender policies, and transhumanism. Yes, Western conservatives support Western culture. What did we expect? That they would support Russian culture? Do we truly support it ourselves? A rhetorical question… But liberals openly call for the cancellation of any culture. This is cancel culture.
In short, confident in our strength and sovereignty, Russian traditionalists and conservatives must calmly observe the pivotal events in the West. The hostile and insane civilization is staggering. This is a chance. This is definitely the case where you push what is falling.
