White Houses Relies On Foreign Dark-Money Group That Tried To Deplatform The Federalist To Justify Censorship – Jordan Davidson

To justify its new censorship campaign in partnership with Big Tech against Americans, the White House used information funneled from a foreign, dark-money group that recently tried to deplatform The Federalist.

The Center for Countering Digital Hate is an obscure international group reportedly based out of the United Kingdom and Washington, D.C., that works as an adviser to multiple governments and elite-run institutions about digital technology and regulation. According to its website, the left-wing Center for Countering Digital Hate prides itself on researching, exposing, and then shutting down users and news sites it deems unacceptable in the digital sphere.

“CCDH’s solutions seek to increase the economic, political and social costs of all parts of the infrastructure — the actors, systems, and culture — that support, and often profit from hate and misinformation,” the website states. “Solutions such as Stop Funding Fake News have proven effective in demonetising and reducing the reach of websites that masquerade as real news but in fact contain conspiracy theories, misinformation, and propaganda, intermingled with shoddy journalism.”

In its newest report, the British think tank claims there are 12 users on Big Tech sites responsible for spreading “harmful and dangerous” vaccine-hesitant information. The report overlooks the tech giants’ already-imposed COVID-19 warning labels and track record of banning users to claim that “95 percent of the Covid misinformation reported on these platforms were not removed.”

“Facebook, Google, and Twitter have put policies into place to prevent the spread of vaccine misinformation; yet to date, all have failed to satisfactorily enforce those policies,” the Center for Countering Digital Hate’s CEO Imran Ahmed claimed in the report. “All have been particularly ineffective at removing harmful and dangerous misinformation about coronavirus vaccines.”

For days, the Biden administration publicly pressured Silicon Valley giants such as Facebook to wage a war on the so-called “disinformation dozen” and the spread of any dissenting information from the government’s COVID-19 propaganda campaign. White House press secretary Jen Psaki not only admitted the Biden administration is colluding with corrupt Big Tech oligarchs to suppress dissent on social media platforms but capitalized on President Joe Biden’s allegation that Facebook is “killing people” to boost U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy’s urgings for Big Tech to crack down on what he labels “misinformation ‘super-spreaders.’”

When Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy pressed the administration about the origins of the report fueling their quest for digital suppression, he was brushed off and mocked by members of the corporate media.

The Center for Countering Digital Hate previously colluded with the corrupt corporate media outlet NBC News last summer in an attempt to strip The Federalist of its Google ad revenue. NBC News reported that Google banned The Federalist due to a shoddy report from the network’s “verification unit,” and the Center for Countering Digital Hate took issue with The Federalist’s reporting about the race-motivated rioting and violence that plagued the nation during the summer of rage.
